AI Search Optimization
AI Search Optimization for when customers ask AI.
People can now ask ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews or Perplexity who to hire, and the answer names a few businesses. I make sure those tools can read your website and find the same facts about you everywhere they look.
- Tested in 5 AI assistants

What is AI search optimization?
The short answer.
AI search optimization makes your business easy for AI tools to read, check and recommend. These tools build their answers from websites, business profiles, reviews and directories. When those sources are clear and agree with each other, you give them a reason to name you.
It is not a trick or a special file. It is careful work on the places these tools already read.
What the $400 setup covers, part by part.
The setup is six jobs, done once. Scroll through them to see which part of an AI answer each one shapes.
A before-test in 5 AI assistants
The questions your customers would ask, put to ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude before anything changes.
A check that AI tools can read your site
I make sure search bots and AI crawlers can reach your pages, and fix what blocks them.
Business Profile and listings that agree
Your name, phone, hours and services matched across your Google Business Profile and directories.
Fixes on up to 5 pages
Plain answers on your key pages about what you do, where you work and how to reach you.
3 to 5 directory listings cleaned up
Listings that AI tools read, claimed in your name or corrected so the facts match.
A re-test after 60 days
The same questions asked again 60 days later, with a written note on what changed.
AI tools repeat what they can find and check. The setup makes sure the facts they find about you are right.
Who this is for.
It fits service businesses that customers find by searching. If one of these sounds like you, the setup is a good place to start.
Local service businesses
Contractors, cleaners, clinics and shops that want to be named when someone asks an AI tool for help nearby.
Owners who checked and didn’t see their name
You asked ChatGPT about your trade and your town, and the answer listed someone else.
Businesses with mixed-up details online
An old phone number, past hours or a different name on a directory. AI tools repeat whatever they find.
Anyone already on an SEO plan
The setup is the one-time step. After that, the ongoing AI search work is part of your plan.
How I measure it, honestly.
AI answers change from one day to the next, so I measure the same way every time and show you where each number comes from.
Many people read an AI answer and never click. Visits alone never tell the whole story, which is why the same questions get asked before and after.

What this will not do.
AI search attracts big promises. Here is what you will not get from me.
-
Promise you will be named
No one controls what ChatGPT or Google’s AI says. Anyone who guarantees a mention is guessing.
-
Sell you an llms.txt file
Google says AI text files neither help nor hurt your visibility in its search. I spend the setup on what these tools actually read.
-
Post fake reviews or listings
Fake reviews break Google’s rules and can sink a profile. Every listing I touch is real and in your name.
-
Build pages just for robots
No hidden text and no copied “AI versions” of your pages. Your real pages, written for customers, do the work.
AI search questions,
answered straight.
What owners ask me most before they decide on the setup.
Didn’t see your question?
Email or text it to me. I read every message myself and reply in writing.
Is this different from SEO?
It builds on SEO. SEO helps your pages rank in regular search results. AI search optimization makes sure AI tools find the same facts about your business on your site, your Business Profile and the directories they read. That is why it is included in every SEO plan after the setup.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT mentions us?
No, and I would be wary of anyone who does. Each AI tool picks its own answers and they change often. I fix what these tools read, then ask the same questions before and after so you can see what changed.
How long until we see changes?
It depends on the tool. Each one has to pick up your fixed pages and listings again before its answers change. I re-test 60 days after the setup and send you the results in writing.
Do I need an SEO plan?
No. The $400 setup works on its own. If you have an SEO plan, or start one later, the ongoing AI search work is included at no extra monthly cost.
Will an llms.txt file help?
Not with Google. Google says AI text files neither help nor hurt your visibility in its search, including AI Overviews and AI Mode. I would rather spend your setup on the pages and listings these tools actually read.
Which AI tools do you test?
ChatGPT, Google’s AI answers, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. I ask each one the same questions your customers would ask, before the setup and again after 60 days.
